What is seed
paper?
Seed paper is
recycled paper embedded with wildflower seeds. When planted, the paper
decomposes, and flowers grow in its place. It is handmade in Canada from 100%
post-consumer recycled materials.
How do I plant
my seed paper greeting card?
Tear it into large
pieces. Plant them in soil (indoors or outdoors) and lightly cover them with
about 0.5 cm of soil. Water the soil to keep it moist, and watch your beautiful
wildflowers bloom!
Can I write on
the plantable card?
Yes, of course!
The amount of ink used is too small to affect the quality of the seeds or the
planting process.
What flowers
will grow?
• Silene (annual)
• Lobularia Maritima (annual)
• Antirrhinum (annual)
• Gilia Tricolor (annual)
• Rudbeckia (perennial)
• Clarkia (annual)
