In order to prolong the life of your dish brush, it is important to clean it well. Here is an ecological method that does not require any chemicals. Just heat some water, then add a small amount of vinegar. Soak your dish brush in the mixture for an hour, then rinse it with tap water. If, however, your brush doesn't seem clean and there is still some residue left, add baking soda to your mixture. This will accentuate the cleaning and dislodge the residue well. Let your brush dry well after cleaning.
This cleaning method can be done weekly to keep your dish brush as long as possible.
